Conditioner, treatments and serums coat towel fibres until they stop absorbing. Basin towels are washed with enough detergent to lift product, rinsed well and dried without softener, so they come back soft and absorbent rather than slick.
Colour towels on their own
Permanent dye and lightener change towels for good, so colour towels are washed apart from service towels and never over-treated in an attempt to remove marks that cannot come out. Towels with holes from lightener are flagged.

Barbers and hot towels
Hot-shave towels must be fresh for every client. Beard oil and shaving products are treated like massage oil, with pre-treatment and a full cool-down in the dryer.
Simple weekly collections
Most salons need one or two pickups a week. Bag colour towels, service towels and oily towels separately, shake out hair first, and we keep them apart all the way through.

Permanent colour usually cannot. Keep dark towels for colour work and we wash them separately.

Yes, separately from towels, dried gently.
